- Nominations open Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 10:00am (EST). Our registered donors will receive an email notification to send in their quarterly donations and join us in the Facebook Group for the nomination discussion. You must have made your quarterly and/or yearly contribution to be eligible to nominate.
- Nominations close Monday June 6, 2022 at 5:00pm (EST).
- Voting opens Tuesday June 7, 2022 at 10:00am (EST). You’ll receive a voting link by email to submit your vote. You must have made your quarterly and/or yearly contribution to be eligible to vote.
- Voting closes on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 4:30pm (EST).
- Votes tallied and winning organization announced on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 5:00pm (EST) via 100 People Who Care Facebook Group
- Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 10:00am (EST) 100 People Who Care announcement/promotion via Charity Connect website and Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce social media channels

100 People Who Care Thunder Bay is a fundraising group with a goal of raising $10,000 for a grassroots Thunder Bay charity/program every quarter.
How does it work?
- Every quarter, participants each chip in $100 to a funding pool.
- Participants nominate, discuss and vote for a single charity to receive the quarterly pool.
- Nominations and discussion take place in the TBay 100 People Facebook Group. You must be a registered participant to be part of the Group.
- Optional get-togethers every three months let you connect with other participants while we catch up with the last quarter’s charity, finalize voting and announce the next recipient.
- 100% of all the funds raised are contributed to the charity selected by the group.
