About Us
The Chamber of Marine Commerce (CMC) is a binational, not-for-profit association representing more than 100 marine industry stakeholders, including cargo shippers, ports, terminals, the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation, Canadian vessel owners, and marine service providers.
The CMC advocates for safe, sustainable, harmonized, and competitive policy and regulation that recognizes the marine transportation system's significant advantages in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence, Coastal and Arctic regions. The CMC offers a unique perspective, with the operations of member organizations encompassing every link in the marine supply chain.
