Northwest Solutions Inc. provides innovative solutions to the Natural Resource sector, delivering forestry, mining, and environmental support, along with training, project management, and consulting. Since 2014, we have operated as a Northern Ontario family-owned business committed to client success and high-quality results. Our services include project management, road design and costing, ArcGIS mapping, LiDAR support, community capacity building, FOIPS, wildfire preparedness and training, grant support and reporting, environmental assessments, road and boundary layout, etc. We work alongside First Nation partners with humility and a commitment to listening. NWS is known for being both relational and technical.

Northwest Solutions Inc. – K9 Division, led by Certified Dog Trainer Brandi Shorthouse, offers a welcoming, relationship-focused approach to dog training. Grounded in education, communication, and loving boundaries—because your dog is family, and your life together should be enjoyable and connected. Our Private Dog Training & Owner Education service brings personalized, in-home coaching, strengthening the bond between you and your dog while building skills that support everyday life. Our Stay & Train program offers individualized one-on-one learning through two pathways: Puppy Foundations for dogs up to six months, and Behaviour Support for dogs six months and older, including those with more complex training needs. We also offer Dog Selection & Family Matching to help families choose a dog whose temperament, energy, and needs align naturally with their lifestyle.
