About Us
Thunder Bay Nordic Trails (TBNT) is a not-for-profit association of dedicated cross country skiers that maintains over 100 kms of trails in the Thunder Bay region.
Kamview Nordic Centre is home to Thunder Bay Nordic Trails’ operations. Kamview features great skiing and lots of good family fun. With over 30km groomed trails, including 5.5kms of well lit trails, you can ski from 9am to 9pm throughout most of the winter. Located just a short drive down Highway 61 (turn right on to the 20th Side Road just before the Neebing Roadhouse), you can be on the trails and enjoying a great ski in minutes. We also boast over 20km marked snowshoe trails.
The cozy chalet offers a comfortable place to warm up, enjoy a snack or hot beverage, including delicious homemade soups, classic Kamview chili and our famous Kamview cookies. It is a place to meet your family and friends. The season is packed with family oriented fun events including Candlelight skiing and snowshoeing, Tin Can Challenges, Tour de Kamview, Fun Winter Triathlon, and much more. Kamview’s chalet, change rooms and washrooms are fully accessible to people with a disability and offers an inclusive environment for all. A large supply of ski and snowshoe rentals are available for on-site use.
Programs operating out of Kamview include Kamview Jackrabbits, Big Thunder Nordic Ski Club and Lake Superior Biathlon Bears Program.
Kamview is a great location for hiking and running during the off season.
