BioNorth Solutions is an environmental biotechnology company located in Rosslyn, ON. We are the creators of microbial solutions to some of the world's key issues today. By harnessing the power of microbes, we are able to offer sustainable and natural solutions to soil remediation and land revegetation. We have an overarching commitment to revitalizing and rehabilitating soil health, one microbe at a time.

Amber Kivisto, MSc and Dr. Miranda Lock co-founded BioNorth Solutions in 2014. BioNorth Solutions developed as a result of the multitude of contaminated lands that exist, and remain that way due to inefficient, cost-prohibitive methods of remedying the problem. Many areas have not been cleaned, and current technologies are not efficient. Bioremediation is a process by which many sites can be reclaimed. BioNorth Solutions performs environmental reclamation of contaminated lands, converting contaminants to neutral by-products which render the lands or waters decontaminated. Our technologies are green and cost-effective, and tailored specifically for each contaminated site.

We are science driven and collaborative – we do not just sell our microbes, we work on the project with the client and end-users to determine the best implementation strategies and monitor the program throughout. Our microbes are cold-adapted, remaining active over a wider range of temperatures compared to most competitors. BioNorth Solutions has had many success stories with clients around the globe, on both large and small scales.
