About Us
We are a local not for profit that has been empowering the meaningful Independent Living (IL) Philosophy choices, flexibilities and control of all persons with disabilities in our region for more than 30 years. This is best achieved when we come together as a unified community voice in partnership!
We create and deliver unique programs that increase self-directed skill development, employment and recreation opportunities for people with disabilities. This builds a more richly diverse, inclusive and fundamentally accessible community. Through meaningful partnerships, we are increasing the involvement and broadening the reach of all persons with disabilities in our region!
We focus our programs and services on creating direct pathways to meaningful skill development and employment opportunities for any independent person with a disability in our community seeking to become more autonomous. Through funding partnerships, most of our services are completely free to eligible participants.
